Qualitative Analysis Training for Data Analysts
The need:
The Specialist Services Committee (SSC) has an internal team of data analysts that support in-house quality improvement and evaluation activities. A group of SSC data analysts required some training to increase their knowledge and skills to analyze qualitative data.
What we did:
Catalyst Consulting designed a brief, in-person training session to build the SSC data analysts’ abilities to analyze qualitative data, such as interviews, focus groups, and open-ended responses to surveys. The interactive session was tailored to their specific learning needs and incorporated opportunities to practice qualitative data analysis based on the information shared. A list of key resources and tools to guide future learning was also provided to the group.
